Aura Films is offering 16 paid internship placements on an exciting new short film project, supported by Essex County Council’s Creative Industries Project Development Fund.
This is more than a set visit — you’ll get hands-on experience working on two professionally produced short films inspired by Essex legends and folklore. Learn real industry skills across directing, cinematography, sound, and post-production.
No professional experience needed — just passion, creativity, and commitment. You’ll be mentored by industry professionals, build practical skills, and make valuable connections for future careers in film and TV.
Who can apply?

– Based in Essex
– Strong interest in film, TV, or creative media
