The event takes place across two locations: at The Transition & Foyles Bookshop, both in Chelmsford City Centre.
Drop into Foyles Bookshop (Bond Street) and get comfy in our pop-up storytelling armchair, write your own stories and listen to tales from around the globe. There’ll be storytelling on the hour at 1, 2, 3 & 4pm, with some colouring-in, drawing and writing about your favourite place in between!
Spend some time with us at The Transition (near the train station, behind Grand Central) where there will be Traditional Stories from Africa and Djembe drumming with Efua Sey Korbi, Chinese calligraphy workshops with the Colchester Chinese Cultural Society, some poetry, flash fiction writing, Bollywood dancing and more.
